Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has once again proven to be one of the few voices of reason in a judiciary system teetering on the brink of chaos. Imagine the level of dysfunction required to halt deportation flights in the dead of night, bypassing lower courts and ignoring proper legal procedure. That’s exactly what happened when the Supreme Court’s liberal justices temporarily stopped the deportation of illegal immigrant gang members to El Salvador.
This is not just any group of immigrants we’re talking about. These individuals have ties to violent, transnational gangs—essentially foreign invaders who pose a grave threat to American communities. President Trump, in a move lauded by any rational patriot, designated these gangs and cartels as terrorist organizations. This decision was met with a flurry of legal challenges from the left, desperate to protect violent criminals rather than American families.
The rushed order from the Supreme Court flies in the face of the conservative majority that should dominate this bench. Instead, we get midnight rulings pushed through at a moment’s notice, catering to a globalist agenda rather than considering the safety of American citizens.
Even more outrageous is the slap in the face to the Trump administration, which has been using the Alien Enemies Act—a perfectly reasonable tool—to rid our streets of those who would harm U.S. citizens. Leftist activists, with their endless legal gymnastics, have done everything in their power to derail this essential deportation process. The blatant hypocrisy is astounding. The same voices that scream about the rule of law conveniently ignore it when it gets in the way of their open-border fantasies.
The Trump administration is right to demand clarifications and continue this fight, standing firm in the belief that this legal battle is nowhere near over. What remains clear is that the left will go to extreme lengths to protect those who don’t belong here, all the while leaving American citizens vulnerable. How many more unconventional, midnight decisions will it take before we recognize the real crisis within our own judicial system? How long must Americans wait for justice that actually prioritizes their safety?
