The liberal media is having a field day over the Caribbean boat strike, shrieking their favorite word: war crime. They’re at it again, trying to use President Trump as their scapegoat while conveniently overlooking the tsunami of problems they’ve created themselves. To them, an attack on a drug cartel’s boat is more sinful than the devastation drugs wreak on American communities. The left’s obsession with bashing Trump makes you wonder if they’ve got a little crush or if they’re just terrified of losing their power.
The irony, though, is palpable. The Trump administration’s missile strike aimed to stop the flow of drugs, defending our nation from the poison that kills thousands of Americans yearly. But the Democratic elites want to twist this action into yet another scandal. Apparently, taking out drug traffickers is only a crime if it reduces funding for liberal interests. The Democrats’ so-called concern for justice rings hollow when you recall their heroes negotiated countless drone strikes without blinking an eye.

Remember how silent these champions of justice were when the Obama administration executed drone strikes left and right, leaving civilian casualties in its wake? If we are to investigate alleged war crimes, then let’s call for a historical rewind to scrutinize past administrations responsible for scores of drone-induced deaths. The left only screams for justice when it fits their narrative or distracts from their glaring failures.
This supposed humanitarian crisis is another liberal concoction, a desperate attempt to demonize Trump’s attempt to shield our shores from the drug epidemic. Over 109,000 American lives were snuffed out by drug overdoses last year, yet the Democrats weep for drug traffickers. This storyline only underscores their glaring disconnect with everyday Americans. Voters in the upcoming midterms won’t easily forget how the Dems shed crocodile tears over drug runners while our streets fill with chemical corpses.
The Democrats’ myopic antics only highlight their hypocrisy. If the Democrats cared about lives as much as their political power, they’d have turned their magnifying glass on their own. But they continue to hammer away, because while their policies flounder, attacking Trump is their bread and butter. The question is, when will the American public finally say Enough is enough?
