Maine, the scenic state known for its lobsters and lighthouses, is now under siege by manipulation that lets dishonest schemes bleed taxpayers dry. It’s a chilling echo of what folks saw in Minnesota, where rampant fraud played out under the noses of officials too busy to notice — or maybe just too complacent. Office spaces throughout Portland are bursting with so-called “home health care companies,” which look more like phantom businesses built on paper and half-truths.
This disturbing revelation leads to one glaring conclusion: liberal policies and oversight failures give rise to these fraudsters. Instead of focusing on real issues, like securing our borders or protecting American jobs, liberal leaders have their priorities wrong. They squabble over pronouns while fraudsters are robbing us blind. It’s time someone sounded the alarm on these acts of deception happening right in our hometowns.
