In today’s absurd act of statistical gymnastics, the media has once again twisted numbers to fit their skewed narrative. It’s not enough that they’ve railed against efforts to address illegal immigration and crime. Now, they’re shamelessly suggesting that there’s somehow an acceptable level of murders committed by illegal immigrants. Imagine the uproar if the tables were turned and conservative voices made such a brazen suggestion! But here we are, smack dab in the middle of liberal hypocrisy.
Digging into the latest immigration enforcement numbers, which any sane person would see as a step in the right direction, the media has instead thrown a fit. They’re outraged that not every single person detained is a convicted murderer or sexual predator, as if enforcing the law now requires waiting for a crisis. The media’s twisted logic is that since only six percent of detainees are convicted murderers, the enforcement effort is a failure. But last I checked, even one murderer slipping through our borders should cause national outrage, not a half-baked attempt to undermine immigration policies.
The real tragedy revealed by this data is the disconnection between liberal elites and the safety concerns of average Americans. While the data shows over 65,000 detainees with criminal convictions, the left brushes off these numbers like they don’t matter, emphasizing instead on those who aren’t charged with a crime. Amusingly, they have to ignore the glaringly obvious: being here illegally is already breaking the law.

So, what’s really going on here? Simple. By casting shade on these statistics, the media tries to reshape reality, influencing public perception and undermining efforts to secure our borders. There’s a silent, dangerous acceptance developing that illegal actions are somehow not as illegal if they align with the left’s agenda. That’s the true peril in this lunacy.
Isn’t it time we stop dancing around the truth? The left’s reluctance to call out any crime that doesn’t square with their narrative is downright reckless. Ask yourself: when did protecting American lives become controversial? It’s high time these so-called experts set aside their skewed interpretations and agendas for the betterment of our nation. After all, isn’t an America with secure borders and safer streets exactly what we all deserve?
