Once again, the left’s fantasy world gets a reality check. Tom Homan, President Trump’s fearless border czar, is wrapping up a major ICE surge in Minnesota. That’s right—while liberal politicians were busy virtue signaling and patting themselves on the back for their so-called “sanctuary” policies, real Americans were dealing with the consequences of unchecked illegal immigration. And as usual, it took a conservative leader to bring actual law and order back to the table.
The operation in Minnesota was no small potatoes. This was a full-scale federal push to enforce the laws that the radical left would love to ignore. While Democrat lawmakers cozied up to globalist interests and snubbed the will of the people, ICE was on the ground defending our nation’s sovereignty. It’s clear whose side President Trump and his team are really on—they stand with the American worker, the American family, and the American dream.

Let’s not kid ourselves: without this surge, Minnesota would continue to slide toward chaos. The political elites want you to believe that open borders are compassionate, but it’s average Americans who pay the price. Criminals don’t care about the talking points from CNN—they care about soft targets and weak enforcement. Thankfully, ICE wasn’t afraid to show up where they were needed, even when the media and left-wing politicians tried to shame them at every turn.
Now, as this operation winds down, the usual crowd is going to act outraged. They’ll use emotional buzzwords like “xenophobia” and “human rights.” But where were their tears for the victims of crime? Where is their outrage over jobs stolen, wages driven down, and communities made less secure? The truth is, liberal incompetence and hypocrisy are always exposed when federal agents actually step in to do the hard work liberals lack the backbone to do themselves.
The fact is, ending the surge isn’t the end of America’s fight to reclaim our borders. If Washington’s open-borders crowd had its way, the floodgates would open, and the rule of law would be trampled. What’s it going to take for liberals to finally listen to the people—another surge, another crisis, or complete social breakdown?
