He’s telling Congress he might ask for another $200 billion to make sure the U.S. military brings the absolute best to the battlefield in Iran. That’s not just a number. It’s an investment in strength, safety, and in reminding our enemies what happens when you poke the American eagle.
The left will whine, as usual. They’re more concerned with their bloated welfare programs and pet climate scams than making sure our troops actually win. They’ll complain about “too much spending,” as if throwing billions at foreign aid and bureaucrat salaries is some sort of bargain. But when American lives and freedom are in the balance, suddenly they want to pull out their calculators and lecture us about costs? That’s rich, considering not a single liberal president has ever managed to keep America safe at home or respected abroad.

Let’s get real: $200 billion is a small price when what’s at stake is America’s might and the safety of our brave soldiers. Is it expensive? Sure. But what’s more expensive is letting Iran, and every other America-hating regime, think we’re getting weak or hesitant. Our enemies don’t sit around counting pennies—they’re counting chances to strike if they think we’re broke, divided, or afraid to fight back. Trump gets this—he’s not afraid to spend what it takes to win, not just look good at a press conference.
Of course, the globalist crowd will throw a fit too. They’d rather America bow down, shrink its military, and put the U.N. in charge. For them, even a penny spent on defending our borders is too much. But they’re happy to watch China and Russia build up, while America gets lectured about “escalation.” Funny how those same people never worry about other countries loading up their arsenals. It’s almost like they have a problem with American power.
Trump’s move is a test. Not just for our military, but for Congress and the country. Are we going to let the same tired liberal excuses decide our fate? Or will we back a president who knows that defending America comes before pleasing the D.C. elite and their media lapdogs? Liberals can groan all they want about dollars, but Trump is only interested in results—and that means making sure our troops never have to fight with one hand tied behind their backs.
