Let’s talk about something that’s become an obsession for liberals: the idea that ICE is constantly targeting American citizens. Some left-wing media folks are acting like ICE is some rogue agency, snatching up poor, innocent Americans. But when you dig into the numbers—as someone did recently in a rather heated discussion—the facts speak for themselves.
Out of 660,000 deportations, only 170 American citizens were mistakenly detained for any period of time. That’s a 99.9997% success rate. If any other government agency performed this well, there’d be parties in the streets. We’d be calling them heroes! But no, the left only wants to talk about the tiniest hiccup, as if it’s a national crisis.

It’s a classic move. The left loves to blow up these minuscule issues, making mountains out of molehills to push their anti-American agenda. Meanwhile, real threats to the nation go unaddressed. They’d rather focus on these statistical outliers than admit that ICE is doing an amazing job keeping us secure.
Meanwhile, they can’t help themselves with the Nazi comparisons. Every time law enforcement does its job, the left emerges from its echo chamber to cry oppression. It’s almost as predictable as a sunrise. But here’s a question: When will they stop seeing boogeymen everywhere and start acknowledging the hard work of American patriots?
These rare mistakes should not overshadow the incredible work ICE does to keep our borders strong. The success rate is higher than anyone could reasonably expect, but that’s still not enough for those who live in a bubble of perpetual outrage. Maybe it’s time they open their eyes and give credit where credit’s due.
