Brad Wenstrup, a representative from Ohio, revealed the inconvenient truth about the duration of the national lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic. It was revealed that the lockdown lasted over 1,000 days. Americans were subjected to various health measures that were scientifically inaccurate, and they distrusted the government.
Elizabeth Murrill, the solicitor general of Louisiana, discussed how the restrictions on business and in-person gatherings were unconstitutional. She noted the legal battle that the Rev. Tony went through in order to uphold his religious freedom and defy the mandates that closed his church.
Even though the governor of Louisiana declared that his actions were unconstitutional, the Reverend Tony was still allowed to keep his beliefs. The legal team of the governor claimed that the pastor was not targeted because of his beliefs, but because he was an "unrepentant sinner." The state's Supreme Court ruled that the mandates were unlawful, and the cost of the legal battles that followed continued to be considerable.
According to Murrill, the coronavirus pandemic showed how the role of government had become distorted, and it was also ignored by the courts and Congress. Vaccine mandates were among the unconstitutional actions that were implemented on a federal level. Joe Biden, who was the president-elect at that time, called these mandates unconstitutional before they were turned into policies that affected the people after they were implemented.

The coronavirus pandemic also violated the free speech rights of individuals. Andrew Bailey, the attorney general of Missouri, noted that the government's censorship efforts were the biggest violation of these rights in the country's history.
It's time to put in place regulations that prevent similar unconstitutional actions from happening in the future. Murrill believes that by studying the various incidents that occurred during the pandemic, the government should be able to put in place safeguards that will prevent these types of violations from happening in the future.
