In a recent survey conducted by USA Facts, it was revealed that transgender individuals are suffering from Long COVID at a significantly higher rate than their cisgender counterparts. This unexpected finding sheds light on the undeniable intersection of the transgender movement and the exaggerated phenomenon of Long COVID. While the medical establishment attributes this discrepancy to limited healthcare access and societal stigma, a closer examination reveals the underlying political motivations at play.

Both Long COVID and the transgender craze share a strikingly similar trajectory in their development. They both lack clear and concise definitions within the medical field, yet are portrayed as objective truths. For instance, if a man identifies as a woman, society is expected to accept this as an undeniable fact, blurring the lines of what constitutes a “woman.” Similarly, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention broadly define Long COVID as any lingering symptoms after recovering from COVID-19, encompassing a wide range of ambiguous ailments. This lack of specificity allows for an ever-expanding acknowledgement of Long COVID, further perpetuating the CDC’s authority over an ongoing crisis.
Medical and scientific authorities have mastered the art of transforming discrete instances of a phenomenon into broader ideological movements. While transgender individuals undoubtedly exist, particularly those with clinically diagnosed gender dysphoria, the rapid increase in trans-identifying teenagers suggests a social aspect that experts are hesitant to acknowledge due to ideological reasons. Similarly, patients who experience prolonged illness are no strangers to its effects, as symptoms can linger for weeks or even months. Yet, defining Long COVID as an elusive and perpetual threat reinforces the CDC’s control over the narrative.
Ultimately, Long COVID and the transgender agenda align with the left-wing ideology that truth is subjective and dependent on individual feelings. Objective truth becomes subservient to personal truth, allowing the “experts” to legitimize their preferred, subjective re-definitions. This approach not only reinforces their authority but also enables the linkage of diverse issues under the umbrella of right-think. Straying from any aspect of this bundled belief system risks losing progressive credibility, as seen in the treatment of Caitlyn Jenner.
The fusion of Long COVID and transgenderism is further facilitated by an inherent sociological element – the belief in a subjective self. Those who embrace the subjective truth, as transgender individuals inherently do, are more likely to seek distinctiveness in highly individualistic ways. They perceive the world through the lens of victimhood and oppression, seeing their individual expression suppressed by societal stigma. Transgenderism is merely an embodiment of this worldview, with Long COVID serving as a natural byproduct. The perpetuation of a disease propagated by the “bad people” who deny science becomes a way of standing out and participating in the Oppression Olympics.
The survey findings from USA Facts undoubtedly hold some objective validity. The physical toll of surgeries and chemical treatments undertaken by transgender individuals may indeed render them more susceptible to routine illnesses. However, the stark disparities in the rates of Long COVID between transgender individuals and others necessitate a deeper exploration of the sociological factors at play. The tendency to trust only the science that aligns with their preferences, combined with the pressure to conform to progressive orthodoxy, increases the likelihood of perpetuating the fear surrounding COVID. In the end, it is the neurotic individuals searching for meaning who pay the heaviest price as the hysteria surrounding Long COVID metastasizes within key segments of society.
