In a shocking turn of events, Arizona’s Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs is pushing hard to see former President Trump, his lawyers, and even Arizona’s alternate electors indicted. Can you believe the audacity? It’s clear that Hobbs has a personal vendetta against Trump and is determined to see him pay for his alleged crimes.
Hobbs even went so far as to praise Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who has already brought a RICO indictment against the former president. She sees it as a “potential roadmap” for her own crusade against Trump. But wait, there’s more! Hobbs, who was once Arizona’s secretary of state, is not satisfied with the four indictments already hanging over Trump’s head. No, she wants to pile on even more charges, as if 700 years in prison isn’t enough punishment.

It’s clear that Hobbs is out for blood. She wants to hold those who dared to challenge the 2020 election accountable, no matter the cost. But let’s not forget the facts here. President Biden only won Arizona by less than one percentage point, and there were 49,000 questionable votes in Maricopa County alone. Shouldn’t we be focused on ensuring the integrity of our elections rather than criminalizing those who question the results?
In a twist of events, Hobbs’ Communications Director, Christian Slater, quickly backtracked on her statements. According to Slater, Hobbs “misheard” the question and believes in allowing the legal process to proceed independently. But can we really trust that she won’t interfere with the process? It seems like a convenient excuse to save face and appease those who see her actions as politically motivated.
The real question here is, when will our elected officials start focusing on the issues that matter to everyday Americans? Instead of obsessing over partisan vendettas, we need leaders who will work to improve our economy, tackle crime, and secure our borders. It’s time to move on from the endless political theater and focus on making a real difference in people’s lives.
