Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), the infamous thorn in the sides of Senate Democrats, might be stirring up trouble once again. The potential of him running for president has left his Democratic colleagues shaking in their boots, fearing that he will pave the way for the return of former President Donald Trump. Oh, the horror!
The mere thought of Manchin throwing his hat into the ring has sparked deep concern among Democrats. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) expressed her dismay at the possibility of Manchin’s presidential bid, emphasizing how his entry into the race could seriously jeopardize their chances of keeping Trump out of the White House.
Recently, Manchin declared that he would not seek reelection but instead would explore the feasibility of running as a third-party candidate. The nerve! He even had the audacity to talk about creating a “movement to mobilize the middle and bring Americans together.” As if we need more unity in this country!

Despite the uproar from his fellow Democrats, Manchin has vehemently denied claims that his potential candidacy would boost Trump’s chances of reclaiming the presidency. He dismissed the notion as pure hogwash and expressed openness to the idea of running for president if the stars align in his favor.
Manchin’s flirtation with a presidential run has left many Democrats deeply disappointed and disheartened. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) lamented that he believed Manchin to be a true Democrat at heart, yet here he is, toying with the idea of a third-party bid that could undermine President Joe Biden. The nerve of some people!
And as if the Democrats weren’t already in distress, it seems that Manchin is also mulling over the possibility of running as a third-party candidate under the “No Labels” affiliation. This bipartisan centrist group, with its grand plans and hefty funding, poses yet another headache for the Democratic party. The chaos never seems to end!
In the midst of all this political drama, one thing is for sure – the Democrats are in for a wild ride if Joe Manchin decides to shake things up on the presidential stage.
