In a baffling turn of events, the liberal elites of Massachusetts have once again put the needs of illegal immigrants above those of American citizens. As if the chaos at the southern border wasn’t enough, now blue states are resorting to kicking out their own people to make way for illegal immigrants. It’s a free-for-all, and it’s not a pretty sight.
In Massachusetts, a state with eight “sanctuary cities,” officials have made the decision to kick inner-city kids out of a recreational center in Roxbury to accommodate illegal immigrants. Democratic Governor Maura Healey defended the decision, claiming they “don’t have a choice” with families continuing to pour into the state. The mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, echoed this sentiment, proclaiming that “Boston is full.” Well, if that’s the case, perhaps they should start putting their own citizens first.

Unsurprisingly, the people of Roxbury are up in arms about this decision. Residents gathered for a protest outside the center, expressing their frustration at their own mayor and governor. The closure of the recreational center is a huge blow to the community, especially for the young people who rely on it for stability. But it seems the liberal leaders of Massachusetts are too busy patting themselves on the back for their “compassion” while neglecting the needs of their own citizens.
This is just another example of Democrats prioritizing illegal immigrants over Americans. By turning a blind eye to immigration laws, they’ve set the stage for this type of egregious behavior. Massachusetts residents are feeling the impact of these misguided policies firsthand, and they’re not pleased.
