Maxine Waters has turned the role of a congresswoman into a one-woman performance piece of chaos and confusion. Instead of serving her constituents with respect and responsibility, she has carved out a legacy of bluster and baseless accusations. While Los Angeles burned and businesses were looted, Waters was quick to pin it all on Trump, despite the obvious. When she urged her followers to harass Trump’s cabinet officials in 2018, it was a stark reminder of her preference for mob mentality over statesmanship.

Those holding the reins of public trust should have respect for the office they occupy and the truth they tell. Not so for Maxine, whose megaphone approach fosters more mayhem than solutions. Her career has desensitized the public to real threats, turning critical hearings into circus acts while she peddles fear and division rather than policies and resolutions.

Maxine Waters has not only refused to accept the responsibilities of her position, she’s wielded it for agitation.
