Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass made a baffling claim that anti-ICE riots in her city never happened. This is nothing more than another leftist attempt to ignore reality. The chaos dominated the city, mirroring third-world insurrections right here in America. Videos and pictures have shown the mayhem, but Bass chooses to rewrite history instead of facing the truth. It’s mind-boggling to see such blatant denial when it’s all on display for everyone to witness.

One has to wonder, what reality is Mayor Bass living in? Does she believe that refusing to acknowledge the chaos will make it go away? She looked puzzled during queries about attacks on ICE agents and seemed surprised by the situation. Ignorance or selective amnesia? Either way, her lack of control and responsibility has failed the citizens of Los Angeles.
This isn’t the first time Democrats have tried this stunt. Bass’s dismissive attitude is just like Governor Gavin Newsom’s. Both seem happy to undermine law enforcement while coddling those who flout our laws. When violence erupted, they didn’t want help from President Donald Trump, even though local police were overwhelmed. Where’s the leadership and accountability amidst all this pandemonium?
Liberal policies are making cities across America less safe, and Bass has become emblematic of this catastrophic governance. Declining law and order, while shunning federal assistance, only emboldens criminals. In the war on ICE and immigration enforcement, Bass’s delusional stance does nothing but make Los Angeles a more dangerous place.
The real question is, how long will Americans stand for leaders who ignore chaos and favoritism over security and order? Maybe it’s time for voters to demand leaders who prioritize the safety of their cities rather than trying to spin away their failures.
