Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is finally speaking out about the years of lies Adam Schiff told the American people. McCarthy appeared on Newsmax to blast the California Democrat for his relentless attacks on President Trump. The Republican leader says Schiff knowingly spread false information about Russian collusion for years.
Schiff led the bogus impeachment witch hunt against Trump in 2019 and 2020. He claimed he had proof that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. But the Durham report proved there was no evidence of collusion at all. Schiff lied to millions of Americans on national television.
McCarthy kicked Schiff off the House Intelligence Committee when Republicans took control in 2023. He said Schiff could not be trusted with classified information after lying so much. The committee handles our nations most sensitive secrets and needs honest members.
The former Speaker also called out Schiff for lying about the Ukraine whistleblower. Schiff claimed he did not know who the whistleblower was before the complaint was filed. But his own staff had already met with the person and helped set up the complaint. This was another clear lie to the American people.
McCarthy says Schiff should face consequences for his actions. He questioned whether someone who lies this much should even serve in Congress. The American people deserve better than politicians who spread false information for political gain.
Republicans have been fighting back against the Democrat lies for years. They knew the Russia collusion story was fake from the beginning. But the liberal media helped spread Schiffs lies to damage Trump and help Democrats win elections.
The Durham report finally proved what conservatives knew all along. There was no Trump-Russia collusion and the whole investigation was based on lies. Schiff owes the American people an apology for wasting their time and tax dollars on this hoax.
