House Speaker Kevin McCarthy wasted no time in rallying House Republicans for a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden and his questionable involvement with his son Hunter’s business dealings. In a letter released on Tuesday, McCarthy outlined the key players who will be leading the investigation, including Chairman James Comer of the Oversight and Accountability Committee, Chairman Jim Jordan of the Judiciary Committee, and Chairman Jason Smith of the Ways and Means Committee.
McCarthy didn’t mince words when it came to accusing President Biden of lying to the American people about his knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings. He pointed to eyewitness testimony that revealed the President’s involvement in multiple phone calls and interactions with Hunter’s business partners. McCarthy also highlighted Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, who claimed that Joe Biden met with Hunter’s associates around 20 times and that foreign nationals sent Hunter millions of dollars and even bought him a Porsche.

The House Speaker further emphasized the suspicious financial transactions involving the Biden family and their business associates. According to bank records, nearly $20 million flowed to Biden family members and associates through multiple shell companies. The Treasury Department flagged these transactions as “suspicious activity” by U.S. banks.
Not only does McCarthy believe there is evidence of alleged bribes to the Biden family, but he also believes that Joe Biden used his official office to coordinate with Hunter’s business partner regarding Hunter’s role in the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma.
McCarthy also expressed concern over the Department of Justice’s handling of the affair, citing a failed plea deal in Hunter Biden’s tax and gun crimes case. The case is now expected to go to trial, indicating that negotiations for a “sweetheart plea deal” have collapsed.
In conclusion, McCarthy made it clear that House Republicans are committed to uncovering the truth and will follow the evidence wherever it leads. With this impeachment inquiry, conservatives hope to shed light on the alleged corruption within the Biden family and hold President Biden accountable for his actions.
