When a deranged Georgia man openly declared his intent to assassinate President Trump on a TikTok livestream, the leftist media barely blinked. Imagine the national outcry if someone had said the same about Biden or Obama. Armed with ammo, explosive material, and a rap sheet packed with violent felonies, this repeat offender brazenly threatened a sitting president and federal agents, even promising bloodshed at an upcoming Trump rally. This wasn’t some internet troll blowing off steam—this was a man with a record of violence, already on probation for domestic battery and illegal firearms possession, laying out his evil plan in shocking detail.
But here’s the real kicker: After all these threats and all that criminal history, the system only handed him a little over three years in prison. That’s less time than many January 6th attendees got for nothing more than trespassing in the People’s House. The left tells us that “words are violence” when it comes to conservatives, but shrugs when an actual threat to a former president comes from their own side. Where’s the outrage? Where are the primetime TV specials? They don’t care—because taking out Trump is their ultimate dream.

The usual talking heads love to smear conservatives as “violent extremists.” Yet when someone with real malice targets a Republican leader, the coverage vanishes. Why isn’t the FBI issuing breathless warnings about Democrat violence? Why do progressive prosecutors and media outlets make excuses and move on? For years, the left has downplayed threats and even actual attacks against Trump and his supporters while pushing the fiction that Trump’s America is the source of hate. This hypocrisy is as plain as day.
This case should terrify every patriotic American. The radical left has poisoned the air with so much anti-Trump hatred that criminals feel licensed to act out their sick fantasies. The fact that a convicted felon thought he could broadcast a presidential assassination plot with little fear tells us everything about the climate these progressives have helped create. Yet the same liberal politicians who fan these flames want us all disarmed and defenseless while criminals walk free.
The double standard is glaring: Threaten a Democrat, and you’ll rot in jail; threaten Trump and you’ll barely make the news. Is this what “justice” looks like in Biden’s America? Or is it a warning shot that the left’s real target is anyone who dares stand up for our country?
