Megyn Kelly and Don Lemon clash over Joy Reid show cancellation

A recent spat between former CNN anchor Don Lemon and conservative commentator Megyn Kelly has sent the left coast-nuts once again into a frenzy. Lemon, who famously parted ways with CNN after a long and, some might say, well-timed exit, delivered a vehement response to Kelly’s excitement over the cancellation of Joy Reid’s MSNBC show. It appears that Lemon believes he has entered the realm of high drama, armed with nothing but theatrics and a mug from a show that most Americans have happily forgotten.

Kelly took to social media, expressing her delight over Reid’s show being axed due to its dismal ratings, claiming that Reid has repeatedly dehumanized white people in her quest for racial outrage. Apparently, lamenting the loss of a show that could not connect with viewers isn’t something Lemon appreciates. Instead, he chose to whip out his soapbox, declaring that Kelly is a bigot while apparently forgetting it was his own network that fostered a culture of division for years.

While sipping from his promotional cup, Lemon unleashed a tirade clearly fueled by years of pent-up frustration, suggesting Kelly should, to put it mildly, take a hike. It seems Lemon might be more invested in protecting Reid’s legacy of faux empathy than in acknowledging the reality that most Americans are tuning out of programming that preaches divisive ideologies like a preacher at a snake-handling revival.

In yet another irony straight out of a liberal playbook, Lemon chastised Kelly for her response toward Reid, conveniently forgetting that Kelly’s comments addressed Reid’s years of mockery aimed at those whom she has condemned. Instead of supporting women as liberal doctrine prescribes, Lemon appeared more interested in doubling down on his paltry attempt at sisterhood. According to him, any critique launching from the right is simply rooted in racism, obliterating the concept of individual thought and responsible commentary.

Lemon’s insistence that Kelly is “the worst person on television” is a prime example of the left’s endless mission to silence dissenting voices—especially those that dare to criticize their star players. With all the noise emanating from this ongoing tit-for-tat, it’s crystal clear that the once-lauded CNN host needs to take a hard look at the credibility of his own viewpoints. After all, when a network has a history of liberal bias as long as the average American’s attention span for a Joy Reid episode, Lemon’s credibility may hold about as much weight as a spicy tweet from a Kardashian.

This battle royale serves as a reminder that the far-left counterculture will resort to any insult in defense of their collapsing agenda. And at the end of the day, whether it’s Lemon screaming at Kelly or Reid crying on camera, it’s clear the mainstream media is out of touch with reality, and the American people are far more interested in constructive dialogue than another round of sensationalized personal attacks.
