The liberal media’s obsession with attacking the Trump family has reached new lows. Even the innocent absence of Melania Trump from a family Christmas photo has prompted wild and vicious speculation. The left-wing rumor mill was churning, trying to concoct scandal where there was none.

The former first lady was not present at Mar-a-Lago because she was attending to her ailing mother, Amalija Knavs. Yet, the left couldn’t resist spreading baseless gossip about Melania’s whereabouts and her relationship with her husband, Donald Trump.
Not only did the liberal media attack Melania, but they also fixated on the Trumps’ 17-year-old son, Barron, and his height. Why is that anyone’s business? The left seems to have a weird fixation on the Trump family’s physical appearances.
The speculation turned so nasty that even so-called “resistance” activists and establishment lawyers joined in on the petty attacks. Instead of showing any respect for Melania’s private family matters, they spewed baseless and malicious claims about her marriage and personal life.
Thankfully, there were some voices of reason pushing back against the leftist vitriol. True supporters of the Trump family came to Melania’s defense, pointing out the real reason for her absence and slamming the left for their despicable behavior.
It’s no surprise that those suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome continue to stoop so low. For eight years, they’ve let their hate consume them, and it’s clear that they have no intention of stopping now. The left’s obsession with baseless gossip and attacks against the Trump family is a sad reflection of the current state of politics.
