Trump Avenue. Hialeah officials have been championing this idea since last year, quickly throwing their full weight behind it, and Mayor Esteban Bovo eventually introduced a street sign during one of Trump’s rallies in the city back in November 2023. It appears that not even the rain of naysayers could dampen the spirits of those who appreciate the former president’s influence on South Florida.
District 6 Commissioner Kevin Cabrera didn’t miss the opportunity to pop a celebratory balloon.
