Mike Pence, once a staunch ally of President Trump, is now lashing out from the shadows. He emerged from obscurity to criticize Trump’s strategies on multiple fronts, proving once again he’s only shifting with the political wind. It’s more than surprising that Pence, who once vocally supported Trump’s tariff policies, now has the audacity to condemn them. How convenient for him to speak against broad-based tariffs when, just a few years ago, these were policies he championed!
Pence’s recent remarks show he’s willing to flip his stance, aiming his criticism directly at Trump’s handling of tariffs. Trump’s bold stance to protect American interests, even if it means playing hardball with global trade, is seen as a point of strength. But Pence now attacks these very policies, instead advocating for softer, globalist approaches that risk economic stability. American citizens know better: it’s about time our leaders made America first, not pleasing foreign diplomats.

Furthermore, the former VP took issue with Trump’s pardons of January 6 participants. This demonstrates Pence’s lack of spine and failure to understand the importance of standing by the real victims—Americans who protested against a rigged system. The mainstream media continuously spins this narrative, painting these patriots as villains. Yet, Pence seems more than willing to toe the line just to receive accolades from liberal elite circles, like a profile award that seems more like a pat on the back from the left.
And let’s not overlook Pence’s criticisms regarding Trump’s approach to the Ukraine-Russia war. Trump’s cautious and strategic stance was driven by a desire to avoid unnecessary conflict, while ensuring that America’s power was felt. Meanwhile, Pence apparently believes in marching right into a potential global disaster to satisfy warmongering interests. Rather than ensuring peace and security, he’s advocating for increased involvement in a conflict that benefits no one but defense contractors making profits off American lives.
Perhaps the most glaring takeaway from Pence’s comments is his self-serving strategy. In the end, his sudden change in perspective seems less about genuine conviction and more about aligning with the flavor of the month. Pence might think these attacks elevate him on the political stage, but the American people see through this facade. Does Mike Pence really stand with the values he claims to champion, or is he more interested in rebranding himself at America’s expense?
