Missile Myth Busted: US Arsenal Far From Empty!

Can The US Not Produce Missiles Anymore? Absolutely False!

In a viral post on X, some misguided souls have been spreading lies that the United States is about to run out of cruise missiles and can no longer produce them. Well, buckle up folks, because this claim is about as accurate as a blindfolded archer trying to hit a bullseye.

Sure, there have been reports of the U.S. launching missile strikes on the Houthis, but that doesn’t mean there’s any shortage of ammunition. Just because the U.S. is taking out the bad guys doesn’t mean they’re depleting their missile supply. It’s like saying a chef is running out of ingredients when they’re just cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

Now, let’s address these social media users who are spreading this nonsense. One of them had the audacity to say, “Man, it literally took us two weeks for these f*cking morons to go from ‘FAFO, America is gonna pwn you sksks jdams are a gemini thing!!!!!’…to them crying and whining because the US is going to run out of 20 year old missiles with zero ability to make more!”

Listen, buddy, just because you can string a few words together doesn’t make you an expert on missile production. There is absolutely zero evidence to support the claim that the U.S. can’t create more missiles or is in any danger of running out. I mean, come on, do you really think the most powerful military in the world is twiddling their thumbs when it comes to manufacturing missiles?

Politico may have mentioned lawmakers calling for more funding for missiles, but that doesn’t mean the U.S. military is on the brink of an ammunition crisis. It’s like when you see a sale at your favorite store and you think, “Hmm, maybe I should grab a few more shirts just in case,” but you’re not frantically searching for a new wardrobe because you know there’s always more where that came from.

According to retired U.S. Marine Corps major general Arnold Punaro, who knows a thing or two about the military, the U.S. may not have been adding a ton of Tomahawk missiles over the years, but they also haven’t been using them up like candy on Halloween. So, don’t lose sleep over this, folks.

And here’s another fun fact for you: the U.S. has not only the Tomahawk in its arsenal but also other cruise missiles like the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile and the Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response. It’s like walking into an ice cream shop and being told they have multiple flavors to choose from, not just vanilla. Options, people!

But wait, there’s more! A spokesperson for the Pentagon has outright debunked the claim that the U.S. cannot produce any missiles. So, all you naysayers out there, please sit down because you’re spouting nonsense.

To top it all off, Ryan Brobst, a senior policy analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, has called these claims “unfounded.” He explained that the U.S. has plenty of cruise missiles available, and if they do need more, their defense industrial base can whip them up in no time. It’s like having a chef who can create a masterpiece even with the most limited ingredients.
