In a decision that had conservatives all over Missouri fuming, the state’s supreme court ruled that taxpayer dollars must continue to flow to Planned Parenthood. It’s like a never-ending nightmare for those who believe in the sanctity of life and don’t want their hard-earned money going towards the slaughter of innocent babies.
According to court documents, the legal battle began when the state’s 2022 budget cut off Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid funds. The audacity! How dare they try to defund an organization that profits from the destruction of human life?

But alas, the Missouri Supreme Court sided with Planned Parenthood, deeming the budget measure unconstitutional. It’s just another example of liberal activist judges overstepping their bounds and trampling on the will of the people. Who needs democracy when we have the judiciary telling us what’s best for our state?
The lower court had already ruled against Missouri’s attempt to defund Planned Parenthood, arguing that it violated the state’s constitutional requirement that laws must be centered around a “single subject.” What a convenient loophole for abortion advocates to exploit. It’s almost as if they’ll stop at nothing to protect their money-making machine.
Not only did Missouri fail to address the equal protection claim made by Planned Parenthood, but the conservative attorney general’s office also pursued other avenues to scrutinize the organization. They forced Planned Parenthood to hand over documents related to gender transition interventions performed on minors. Finally, some accountability for an organization that thinks it can play doctor without consequences.
It’s worth noting that while Planned Parenthood is already barred from receiving Medicaid reimbursements for abortion services, they can still receive taxpayer-funded compensation for other services like distributing birth control. So not only are they profiting off the murder of the unborn, but they’re also receiving a nice little bonus from the taxpayer’s pocket. Talk about a double whammy.
Missouri has taken a stand by severely limiting the legality of abortion, allowing it only in cases of medical emergency. But apparently, that’s not enough to satisfy the bloodlust of Planned Parenthood and its supporters. They will stop at nothing to ensure that their coffers continue to overflow with taxpayer dollars.
We can only hope that the state’s Republican lawmakers will fight back against this outrageous ruling and find a way to stop the flow of taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood. It’s time to put an end to this madness and protect the rights and dignity of the unborn. Life should always be the priority, not profit.
