In a fiery exchange, an IDF spokesman demonstrated just how clueless and biased the mainstream press can be. Jonathan Conricus faced a barrage of false claims and demands from MSNBC host Yasmin Vossoughian, but he didn’t back down. The encounter was truly enlightening.

Vossoughian started off with a morally bankrupt question, suggesting that Israeli rocket fire was responsible for the deaths of women and children in Gaza. Conricus quickly set the record straight, pointing out that what actually happened was a terrorist force invading and slaughtering innocent civilians. He emphasized the stark contrast between the IDF’s efforts to strike militants while minimizing civilian casualties and the deliberate targeting of Israeli civilians by these sub-human terrorists.
But Vossoughian wasn’t satisfied. Ignoring Conricus’ clear explanation of Hamas’ ISIS-like nature, she decided to cite information from Hamas itself. Conricus corrected her, highlighting that everything coming out of Gaza is controlled and manipulated by Hamas, with no independent verification. He questioned the accuracy of the death tolls reported by the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health, pointing out their propaganda motives.
It’s mind-boggling that Vossoughian would rely on “independent journalists” in Gaza, as if they weren’t under the thumb of Hamas. Conricus rightly pointed out that these journalists have no way of verifying death counts and are likely just regurgitating Hamas propaganda.
Conricus went on to provide concrete evidence of the inflated death tolls put out by the Gaza Health Ministry. He highlighted the case of the Al-Ahli Baptist hospital explosion, where the initial claim of 500 dead turned out to be far lower, possibly only 10 to 50. Yet, MSNBC repeated the higher number without question, showing their complete lack of journalistic integrity.
This exchange once again reveals the mainstream press’s deep bias and inability to separate facts from their own political agenda. They willfully ignore the truth and rely on Hamas as an authoritative source simply because it fits their anti-Israel narrative. It’s a sad state of affairs when the media can’t be trusted to report accurately.
