Former President Donald Trump is facing yet another indictment, this time in the state of Georgia. The Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis, has launched a full-scale investigation into Trump’s alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election. And now, it seems like the former president will have to face the music. Trump announced on social media that he will turn himself in on Thursday, much to the delight of his haters on the left. It’s almost as if they’ve been waiting for this moment with bated breath. But let’s not forget, this is the same president who brought us one of the strongest economies in history, secured our borders, and brokered peace deals in the Middle East. So forgive me if I’m not losing any sleep over his legal troubles.
The bail has been set at $200,000, which Trump can easily afford. After all, he is a billionaire. But that’s not the real issue here. The real issue is the blatant political persecution that Trump is facing. It’s clear that the left is out to get him, and they’ll stop at nothing to bring him down. Even the sheriff has promised to release Trump’s mugshots as quickly as possible. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound. But let’s not forget, Trump has been indicted four times already, and it hasn’t stopped him from being the frontrunner for the next election. If anything, it’s only solidified his base and energized his supporters.
But while the left is celebrating Trump’s indictment, they should be careful what they wish for. Because the Biden administration has its own set of problems. The Biden bribery scandal is still unfolding, and more details are coming to light. It seems like the Democrats can’t escape controversy, even with COVID protocols in place. And let’s not even get started on their attempts to manipulate election laws. It’s clear that they will do anything to stay in power, even if it means undermining our democracy.
So while the left continues to revel in Trump’s legal troubles, I’ll be over here focused on the real issues facing our country. And I have a feeling that come election time, the American people will too. Trump may be facing indictment, but that doesn’t mean he’s out of the game. Not by a long shot.
