The mainstream media is at it again, railing against anyone who dares to show President Trump the respect he’s earned. This time, their target is NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, who had the audacity to praise Trump during a summit at the Hague. Can you believe it? A leader acknowledging Trump’s hard work and the left simply can’t handle it.
What’s wrong with offering a little acknowledgment to a president who has done more for NATO than any recent leader? Instead of recognizing the truth, liberal journalists attacked Rutte for being “too gushing.” What kind of world is this when you can’t even applaud success without getting grilled by the liberal press corps? Rutte is a realist; he knows Trump pushed NATO allies to boost defense spending, something long overdue.
Liberals always talk about diplomacy and respect, yet they’re the first to criticize when someone from the international community expresses admiration toward Trump. The bias is just sickening. Where was all this outrage when global leaders were throwing empty words at Obama’s feet? There’s a clear double standard, and it reeks of anti-American sentiment.

Globalists want leaders who conform, who will go along without a fight. But Trump? He isn’t afraid to shake things up, and that’s precisely why he’s effective. NATO needed a push, someone to challenge the stagnant status quo. The left loves to whine about Trump’s methods, ignoring the results because they don’t fit their narrative. It’s high time people like Rutte are free to speak the truth without backlash.
When did showing respect become outrageous? The hypocrisy is stunning. Perhaps liberals only want loyalty pledges for their so-called champions. One might wonder—in their quest to criticize Trump, have they forgotten what leadership looks like?
