In a grand show of strength, NATO has stepped into the Baltic Sea to make its presence known. It’s a clear swipe at Putin, thumbing noses at the Russian leader in the name of deterrence. Imagine the sight: 40 ships, 25 aircraft, and 9,000 personnel, all flaunting their military might. This isn’t just a drill; it’s a reminder that the West won’t back down.
Putin has to be seething. NATO’s war games are practically in Russia’s front yard, right next to Peter the Great’s well-trodden backyard at St. Petersburg. Yet, let’s be honest. The Baltic belongs to NATO. Putin knows that, and so do his generals. They won’t risk their ships where they could easily get boxed in by superior forces. Instead, they’ll slink away and focus on their backdoor schemes.
And don’t we know how Russia loves to play dirty! Their so-called “Ghost Fleet” is as shady as it sounds. These rust-bucket ships are like plot devices from a spy movie, cutting undersea cables and causing chaos without a care if they get caught. Just recently, one such dubious vessel was caught red-handed by Finnish authorities. Good on them for holding Russia accountable for their maritime meddling.

What an old-school game! This Cold War-style tension takes us back to when America wasn’t afraid to stand tall. But you know what else it highlights? The mess the liberal elites have made by letting these tensions fester unchecked. While they’ve been busy virtue signaling, Russia’s been plotting. It’s high time we recognize this and thank steady leadership that puts America first.
We must ask: How long before the liberals wake up to the real threat? With Russia poking and prodding at the West’s defenses, maybe it’s time for a serious shift in priorities. America and its allies are showing resilience. Will liberal leaders catch up, or will they let the Kremlin have the upper hand? Time will tell, but we all know which side is standing strong right now.
