This comes at a time when the Democrats and the media seem to be in a coordinated effort to salvage Biden’s reputation following a disastrous debate performance. The choice of Lester Holt as the interviewer and the timing of the interview raise eyebrows as they coincide with the opening night of the Republican National Convention.

As the interview approaches, one can’t help but wonder if NBC News will extend the same courtesy to Donald Trump during the Democrats’ convention.
