NBC News, known for its unreliable reporting, has once again proven its lack of credibility with its recent post on X. The Community Notes feature on X, which is like the grown-up version of Twitter, has been instrumental in setting the record straight and countering the misleading information from NBC News.
A prime example of NBC’s distorted reporting is the case of Le’Keian Woods, who has gained attention due to accusations of police brutality over a seatbelt incident. NBC News painted a picture of an innocent young Black man being ruthlessly chased and beaten by officers. But, as always, there is more to the story.
Thanks to the Community Notes, we now know that Woods was not some poor victim unjustly attacked by the police. In fact, he was a suspect connected to serious crimes, such as murder, armed robbery, and drug trafficking. The police had tried to arrest him, but he resisted and got injured in the process. Talk about crucial context!
It’s truly laughable how NBC News conveniently left out these vital details in their original post. It’s almost as if they have an agenda to push and will twist the truth to fit their narrative. Thankfully, platforms like X are here to call out their dishonest reporting and provide us with the real facts.
But what’s even more concerning is the way pro-BLM accounts on X have taken NBC’s false information and spread it like wildfire. It’s a sad state of affairs when the truth gets buried under a mountain of lies in the name of a movement that claims to fight for justice. It’s no wonder people’s trust in mainstream media is at an all-time low.
