Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear that his country will not back down, following threats from Iranian officials to destroy Israel. After Iran launched numerous missiles and suicide drones at Israel, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned Israel about retaliating. Netanyahu, however, stated that Israel will take whatever actions are necessary to defend itself.

While Netanyahu has not responded militarily to Iran, he asserted that all options are on the table. He also received advice from British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, but made it clear that Israel will ultimately make its own decisions.
President Joe Biden reportedly prefers Israel not to respond to avoid a major conflict in the Middle East. Despite the intercepting of 99% of the projectiles by Israel and its allies, Raisi claimed that Iran’s attack on Israel was a success and warned of severe retaliation if Israel were to invade Iran.
Raisi’s comments were made during a military parade near Tehran, where he claimed that Iran’s armed forces are ready. Despite the strong words from Iran, Netanyahu remains resolute in his commitment to protecting Israel and making decisions in the best interest of his people.
As Israel faces ongoing threats from Iran, it is clear that Netanyahu is determined to do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and security of his nation.
