New York City voters need to wake up before it’s too late. Zohran Mamdani is running for mayor and his radical socialist agenda would destroy what’s left of our great city. This guy calls himself a democratic socialist and proudly stands with the far-left squad.
Mamdani wants to raise the minimum wage to thirty dollars an hour by 2030. That’s double what most small businesses can afford to pay. This crazy policy would force family-owned shops to close their doors forever while big corporations move their jobs out of the city.
The housing crisis would get even worse under Mamdani’s watch. He wants to freeze rent for everyone in rent-stabilized apartments and build 200,000 new units with taxpayer money. This sounds nice but rent freezes always backfire by making landlords stop maintaining buildings and discouraging new construction.
Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have both endorsed this radical candidate. These are the same people who want to defund police and turn America into a socialist country. When the squad backs someone, you know they’re bad news for hardworking families.
Mamdani also wants the city to run five grocery stores to compete with private businesses. Government has no business running grocery stores when they can’t even fix the subway system. This is straight out of the communist playbook where government controls everything.
His plan to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shows where his loyalty really lies. While Islamic extremists threaten America and our allies, Mamdani wants to side with terrorists. This is exactly the wrong message to send when New York needs strong leadership.
The taxes would go through the roof under Mayor Mamdani. He wants to raise taxes on anyone making over one million dollars and hit corporations with massive tax hikes. These job creators would flee the city faster than you can say goodbye to the American dream.
New Yorkers have suffered enough under failed liberal policies. Crime is up, businesses are leaving, and working families can barely afford to live here anymore. The last thing we need is a socialist mayor who thinks government knows better than the free market.
