Newsom’s biggest lie came during the COVID pandemic when he locked down the entire state. He forced small businesses to close and kept kids out of school for months. But then he got caught eating at an expensive French restaurant with lobbyists while telling everyone else to stay home. This shows exactly who Newsom really cares about.
The governor loves to talk about helping the poor and homeless in California. But under his watch, homelessness has gotten much worse in cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. He spent billions of taxpayer dollars with nothing to show for it except more tents on the streets and more crime in neighborhoods.
Newsom also pushed California to become a sanctuary state that protects illegal immigrants from federal law. He puts the needs of people who broke our immigration laws ahead of legal American citizens. This radical policy has made California less safe and costs taxpayers millions of dollars every year.
When it comes to crime, Newsom talks tough but his policies make the problem worse. He opposes the death penalty even though California voters have supported it multiple times. He lets liberal prosecutors go easy on criminals while law-abiding citizens suffer from rising crime rates.
His environmental policies have hurt California families with high gas prices and energy costs. Newsom pushes green energy mandates that make electricity more expensive for everyone. He cares more about looking good to liberal activists than helping working people pay their bills.
The recall election in 2021 showed that many Californians are fed up with Newsom’s failures. Even though he survived the recall, millions of voters wanted him gone. They saw through his phony promises and empty rhetoric about helping ordinary people.
Newsom is already planning his next political move and eyeing a run for president in 2028. He will say anything and do anything to advance his own career. California families deserve better than this fraud who puts politics ahead of people.
