What we’re witnessing in L.A. isn’t just a series of random skirmishes; it’s a battlefield of clashing ideologies, where law and order must supersede riotous madness. Yet, here we have Newsom, looking to score cheap political points for a potential future presidential run, trying to paint Trump’s decisive actions as some sort of overreach.
California, under Newsom’s watch, descended into turmoil, as violent riots erupted following ICE’s lawful arrest of illegal immigrants. Rioters turned protests into a free-for-all of destruction and lawlessness, launching attacks on ICE agents and looting stores like they were in a blockbuster disaster movie. In the face of burning Teslas and rocked ICE vehicles, Trump had no choice but to call in the troops. He acted to protect citizens and property from this descent into anarchic chaos, but of course, the left couldn’t resist framing this as an incursion on their domain.

Newsom whining about federal intervention is laughable. It’s akin to a firefighter being sued for putting out a blaze because the inferno was supposedly a “local matter.” Trump’s decision to federalize the California National Guard was necessary, and it was within his rights as President to take action. Protecting civil rights means ensuring community safety and upholding law and order, but the left’s twisted playbook tries to flip such a noble endeavor into villainy.
The high drama of this lawsuit is expected to fizzle out like a wet firecracker when the Supreme Court weighs in. Alan Dershowitz, a sharp mind on constitutional matters, bets that at the final bells, Trump’s authority for such decisions will stand strong. The Supreme Court isn’t likely to entertain Newsom’s shortsighted theatrics when it’s clear Trump acted within bounds to maintain peace—a responsibility the Governor seems all too eager to shirk.
This lawsuit is nothing more than a poorly disguised attempt to divert attention from the governor’s own mishandled state. With every rock thrown at ICE agents, every storefront smashed, the left’s hypocritical stance becomes more transparently ridiculous. While Newsom talks of Trump’s recklessness, one has to wonder—who is really stirring up the chaos here? Perhaps it’s time to ask if the true recklessness lies in the actions of those opposing the very law that upholds our nation.
