During an interview on Face the Nation, Nikki Haley, the former UN ambassador, criticized Donald Trump and predicted that he would lose the Republican primary. She also said that voters were too smart to elect a criminal as their candidate.
During the first debate of the Republican primary race, several candidates, including Governor Nikki Haley, refused to commit to supporting Donald Trump even if he had been convicted of a crime, raising their hands in the air. Now, she is backtracking on her statement, claiming that she merely reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the eventual nominee.\
In response to a question about Donald Trump's potential presidential run, Ambassador Nikki Haley claimed that the Republican Party would be “smart” not to nominate him if he's found guilty. However, she then went on to imply that the American people aren't capable of supporting someone with a criminal background. This is an insulting remark about the intelligence of Americans.
Despite the positive results that Governor Nikki Haley has received following the debate, Trump's lead in the polls continues to grow. A new Wall Street Journal poll showed that his rival, Ron DeSantis, has lost by 13 points. It's clear that Trump's hold on the primary is not over.
Despite the numerous attempts by the Democrats to bring down Donald Trump, he is still neck-and- neck with Joe Biden in the polls, and the decision to make him take a mugshot is being widely regarded as a desperate attempt by the left. There is also speculation that their overreach might only backfire.
In addition to suggesting that the majority of Republicans who are backing Donald Trump are stupid, Ambassador Nikki Haley also stated that they should vote for someone who can win the general election. However, despite her comments, conservative voters are still confident that the American people will make the right decisions.
