In a recent conversation with Newsmax host Eric Bolling, longtime Donald Trump ally Roger Stone brought up the sizzling topic of who the former president might select as his vice president. Stone, with his unmatchable insight, suggested that Devin Nunes, the head honcho at Trump Media, would be a prime candidate for the job. Stone laid out the qualifications he believes are essential for the role, emphasizing the need for someone who could slide into the president’s spot if needed, advance the “America First revolution,” and sidestep any major blunders right out of the gate.
Trump should choose former @RepDevinNunes as vice president, @RogerJStoneJr says https://t.co/WkaTc1qGLe https://t.co/WkaTc1qGLe

Stone praised Nunes, a former member of Congress from California, who chucked his Capitol Hill gig in 2022 to take a dive into the Trump media empire. Stone underscored Nunes’ long-serving experience in Congress, his close bond with Donald Trump, and his trustworthiness. He also highlighted Nunes’ Hispanic background and previous experience in agriculture, painting a vivid picture of why Nunes would be a stellar choice. Stone’s enthusiasm for Nunes was palpable as he passionately touted the former congressman’s virtues.
Now, let’s not forget Stone’s own place in the political mosh pit. Although he was linked to efforts to keep Trump in the driver’s seat after the 2020 election, Stone made it clear that he sat out the wild events of the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill uproar. However, he allegedly met with members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, radical groups that stirred the pot on that tumultuous day. Stone’s history added an extra layer of intrigue to his bold, brazen musings about Trump’s possible VP pick.
Trump, who’s officially the presumptive Republican presidential candidate, hasn’t spilled the beans about who he’ll bring on board as his running mate. Meanwhile, the suspense is building as Stone hinted that Trump’s lineup of potential picks is growing, not shrinking. Stone tossed out a smorgasbord of other candidates, including Senators Marco Rubio and Tim Scott, Governor Kristi Noem, and Representatives Byron Donalds and Elise Stefanik. He even threw in a curveball by suggesting former Hawaii big shot Tulsi Gabbard as a possibility.
