The RNC-backed lawsuit saw Associate Justice Paul Wooten of the Appellate Division for the Second Judicial Department in New York rightfully declare that the push to allow non-citizens to vote violated the New York State Constitution and the Municipal Home Rule Law. This 43-page decision puts to rest any absurd ideas about non-citizens having a say in American elections.
