NYC Mayor’s Migrant Plan Backfires, NJ Becomes New Gateway

The latest shenanigans in the Big Apple have the conservative crowd shaking their heads in disbelief yet again. Mayor Eric Adams thought he had it all figured out with his fancy executive order to crack down on buses bringing in migrants. But whoops, it looks like there’s a new kid in town, and that kid’s name is New Jersey.

Word on the street is that these sneaky buses have found a loophole in the system, thanks to the strict regulations set by Mayor Adams. Yup, they’re dropping off illegal immigrants at a train station in Secaucus, New Jersey, and then those folks are just hopping on a train straight into New York City. Looks like those buses aren’t the only things making stops – so are these migrants, and not the kind that the border hawks want.

Mayor Michael Gonnelli of Secaucus is not having it. He’s practically waving his hands in the air, shouting, “Hey, this wasn’t in the plan!” It’s like a game of cat and mouse, and right now, it looks like the buses are winning.

But it’s not just New York City that’s in the hot seat. Chicago tried to flex its muscles and crack down on these “rogue buses” last month, but surprise, surprise – the buses are dropping people off in the suburbs. It’s like these buses are playing a game of geographical musical chairs, and no one can keep up.

And let’s not forget about Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who’s throwing some shade at Mayor Adams and company. He’s like, “Hey, Texas is gonna keep doing its thing, and if Chicago wants to play hard to get, well, fine, we’ll just fly there instead.” It’s like a political showdown, and the buses and migrants are caught in the middle.
