In response to the recent protests at universities, New York Police Department Chief John Chell has taken a firm stance against the students and faculty members who have been protesting against Israel and showing support for the violent actions of Hamas. He stated that if it were up to him, he would take action against those who support terrorism and anti-Semitism, and he called out the universities to enforce their own rules against such behavior.

He also expressed his disappointment in the violent reputation of the NYPD being brought into question by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, stating that the police were simply holding the students accountable to the laws of the school.

Chell made it clear that the NYPD’s priority is public safety and protecting the Jewish community. He firmly stated that good SAT scores and self-entitlement do not exempt anyone from following the law.
