In a shocking turn of events, an Obama-appointed federal judge in Chicago, Sharon Coleman, has made a ruling that would make any law-abiding American scratch their head in confusion. Apparently, according to Judge Coleman, illegal immigrants now have the right to possess firearms. Say what now?

What’s even more mind-boggling is the fact that this ruling would potentially open the floodgates for all sorts of questionable characters to walk around armed to the teeth. Convicted felons, veterans with dishonorable discharges – are they all going to get a free pass to the gun show now too?
Judge Coleman’s argument that an illegal immigrant like Heriberto Carbajal-Flores, who claimed he needed a gun for self-defense during the “mostly peaceful” Black Lives Matter riots, should have the same Second Amendment rights as law-abiding citizens is frankly laughable. It’s like saying a bank robber should have the same access to cash as a bank teller. It just doesn’t add up!
Let’s hope that the Biden Justice Department sees the light and appeals this nonsensical ruling. The safety and security of our communities should not be put at risk by handing out firearms to those who have already shown a blatant disregard for our laws. It’s time to put the brakes on this runaway train of liberal judicial activism before it derails completely. All aboard the sanity express!
