Barack Obama, the former leader who promised hope and change, is stuck on defending the tired, old media institutions of yesteryear. During his recent appearance at an Arkansas art museum, he stood by legacy media, asserting that they still manage to get the facts right. While this wasn’t exactly a shocking stance from the former president, it was a stark reminder of just how deep the liberal establishment’s grip on truth manipulation remains.
The mainstream media has proven, time and again, that it is less concerned about facts and more about towing the globalist, leftist line. Just consider the recent reports about the Biden White House carefully shielding the president from even his own Cabinet members, a move that should have been front-page news everywhere. But instead of holding this administration accountable, the media chose silence, burying the story and protecting their favored political players.
Obama’s suggestion that cable news owes its success to making people angry and aggrieved is a fascinating piece of irony. Wasn’t it the liberal networks who led the charge with divisive identity politics and spin that painted every conservative policy as a disaster? People aren’t angry because of conservative media; they’re angry because they’re tired of being patronized and misled by elites pushing agendas rather than the truth.
Meanwhile, conservative journalists face relentless attacks. We’ve seen reporters being labeled as “bad actors” simply for questioning the impact of President Biden’s declining health. This dismissive attitude only underscores the left’s fears. At the same time, the same media bulldogs who stayed silent during these critical issues manage to create narratives out of thin air against figures like Trump, showing their willingness to twist reality.
The truth is glaring for those willing to see it: the legacy media and their liberal allies are more concerned with their narrative than facts. They won’t hesitate to hammer their opponents while covering up for their own. What’s more American than craving the truth? Yet, here we are, drowning in the hypocrisy of an establishment that claims to know what’s best for everyone.
Isn’t it time to stop pretending that the mainstream media is unbiased and start demanding some real accountability from those who claim to report the ‘truth’?
