Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough is back in the spotlight, once again meddling with President Trump’s spending bill. Her actions have sparked outrage among conservatives across the nation. It’s no surprise that Republican lawmakers are demanding her removal, and who can blame them? Her decisions seem more like an affront to democracy than mere oversight.
Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville stands at the forefront of this uproar, calling out MacDonough’s judicial overreach. He points out that provisions critical to American values were unjustly struck from the bill. She’s removed clauses that would prevent illegal immigrants from draining our Medicare system, block them from obtaining taxpayer-funded student loans, and stop the madness of funding medical transitions for minors. Whose side is she on, anyway?
Let’s not forget that MacDonough was promoted to her position under former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. A relic of the Democratic establishment, she seems determined to sabotage the clear mandate that came with Trump’s decisive victory. It’s the kind of partisan politicking that leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of patriots.

The Republican outcry doesn’t stop with Tuberville. Representatives like Greg Steube and Dan Crenshaw are equally vocal in the call for MacDonough’s dismissal. Yet, despite this glaring incompetence, Senate Majority Leader John Thune hesitates to act. It’s baffling. Why let an unelected bureaucrat dictate what should be the embodiment of America’s choice?
Thune’s reluctance to take action is a betrayal to all who voted for real change. Why keep a parliamentarian intent on undermining the President’s agenda? Political games aside, it’s about time we hit the reset button. We need leaders who protect the interests of Americans, not accommodate the whims of globalist pawns.
As this drama unfolds, one question looms large: How long will conservatives tolerate a parliamentarian who dances to the tune of liberal elites?
