Israel struck Gaza’s Nasser Hospital multiple times on August 25th, killing at least 20 people including journalists and medical workers. The attack has sparked outrage from the usual suspects in the international community who always rush to condemn our strongest Middle East ally.
Five journalists died in the strikes, along with four healthcare workers and other civilians. The dead reporters worked for outlets like Al Jazeera, Reuters, and the Associated Press. These are the same media organizations that have been pushing anti-Israel propaganda throughout this war.
Israel initially called the incident a “tragic mishap” and said they were targeting Hamas camera equipment. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed regret for civilian casualties. Israeli officials later revealed they were going after terrorist infrastructure that Hamas had embedded in the hospital.
New video analysis suggests Israel actually hit the hospital four times, not twice as first reported. The strikes appear to have been tank shells rather than airstrikes. This shows the fog of war makes it hard to get accurate information right away.
This is exactly what happens when Hamas uses hospitals as human shields and military bases. The terrorists deliberately put innocent people in danger to score propaganda points when civilians get hurt. Hamas has turned every school, hospital, and mosque into a potential military target.
The United Nations and mainstream media are already screaming about war crimes and accountability. Where was this outrage when Hamas butchered 1,200 Israelis on October 7th? The same people crying crocodile tears now were silent when terrorists raped and murdered innocent families.
Israel has every right to defend itself against an enemy that hides behind children and patients. Hamas has fired thousands of rockets from hospitals and schools throughout this conflict. No other country would show the restraint Israel has shown while fighting these barbarians.
The real war crime here is Hamas using medical facilities as military bases and putting journalists in harm’s way for propaganda purposes. Israel makes mistakes in war just like America did in Iraq and Afghanistan, but they are fighting for their very survival against monsters who want to wipe them off the map.
