According to documents obtained by The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project, more than half of the “transgender women” imprisoned in Wisconsin have been convicted of sexual assault. Out of the 161 men who identify as women in Wisconsin’s prisons, a shocking 50.3 percent have committed at least one count of sexual assault or sexual abuse. These crimes include horrifying acts such as Sexual Assault of a Child, Bestiality, and Forced Viewing of a Sexual Act. It is truly disturbing that these men, who claim to be women, are being housed with female inmates, putting their safety and well-being at risk.

Mike Howell, director of the Oversight Project, believes that “men belong with men and men only in prison.” He argues that putting these sex offender men who identify as women in cells with actual women is just another reason why the world sees America’s moral decline. Howell emphasizes that prison should be a place for punishment, not a place for degenerate sexual behavior.

This issue is not unique to Wisconsin. Last month, it was reported that a male murderer who identified as transgender was sent to a women’s prison and was accused of “preying” on inmates. In New Jersey, a male prisoner who identified as a woman ended up impregnating two female inmates. Clearly, allowing biological males to be housed with females in prisons is a dangerous and absurd practice.
It is crucial that the Wisconsin Department of Corrections addresses this growing problem and takes immediate action to ensure the safety of female inmates. The world is watching, and it’s time for America to prioritize the well-being of its citizens over political correctness.
