Former President Donald Trump gave a speech in Bedminster, N.J. on Tuesday night that laid out his legal defense and outlined his right to have documents under the Presidential Records Act. That’s when PBS Newshour ran chyrons during the speech screaming bias that Trump used violent rhetoric.
The chyrons were clearly biased against Trump and showed a complete disregard for journalistic objectivity. Their first chyron claimed “Violent rhetoric has escalated in online forums and far-right militia groups since Trump’s federal indictment.” However, they didn’t even back up their statement with any factual evidence. Even supposing it were true, it had nothing to do with what Trump was saying. It just seems like they wanted to tar Trump with “violence” for daring to defend himself.
And if that weren’t enough, a second chyron popped up during Trump’s speech stating, “Experts warn that inflammatory rhetoric from elected officials or people in power can prompt individual actors to commit acts of violence.” How enlightening. “Experts.” Why did PBS not have such warnings regarding Joe Biden’s Philly speech where he disparaged almost half the country, insinuating MAGA supporters were a threat to the very foundation of the Republic?
The bias was clear, and it’s quite apparent why PBS is called “government-funded media” since legal maneuvers and proposals like Trumps fall inside PBS’s authorities. But according to them, “PBS’s editorial independence is central to our work and will never change. We produce trustworthy content that features unbiased reporting,” which is quite obviously not the case.
Wow. Look at this propaganda from PBS during Trump's speech tonight. pic.twitter.com/7zGwVI11UH

Trump gave a reasoned speech that demonstrated poise and strength even though he had to face an indictment, which is more than you can say for Joe Biden. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that mainstream media and leftist organization have gone completely off the rails with their bias against conservatives, with PBS being the latest in a litany of such organizations to exhibit this bias and disregard for journalistic integrity.
