Anthropic, a so-called “A.I.” company, thought it could insert itself between military command and the brave men and women who risk their lives to defend our freedoms. News flash: the Pentagon isn’t having it.
The Department of War, led by Under Secretary Emil Michael, saw right through Anthropic’s hustle. Instead of empowering our soldiers, Anthropic wants to play middleman—dictating how America fights while hiding behind a screen of “technology.” This is exactly the kind of globalist thinking that got our country into so many endless wars: hand the power to unelected silicon valley overlords, while the people doing the real fighting pay the price.

Why would any American trust a company like Anthropic to meddle with the chain of command? These tech elites think they know better than the boots on the ground—the same elites who pour millions into progressive causes, cheer on leftist protests, and constantly apologize for America’s strength. Of course, they want our troops answering to algorithms instead of human leaders. It’s about control, plain and simple.
People outside the military love to talk about “ethics” in warfare, but when they try to take the steering wheel from real commanders, it’s not about safety—it’s about power. Anthropic planned to create a barrier between leadership and fighters. That’s not innovation. That’s sabotage. It’s easy to indulge in moral fantasies from a desk in San Francisco—but out on the battlefield, hesitation kills.
Thank God there are still people in Washington willing to say enough is enough. The Department of War made the right call when they cut Anthropic loose. America’s warriors deserve real leadership, not AI babysitters feeding them sanitized talking points. The left won’t rest until every institution is run by tech lords and bureaucrats. As if we’re supposed to trust the same people who can’t even define what a woman is.
