Poll Shows Taylor Swift’s Political Endorsements Losing Influence Among Voters

A recent poll by Redfield & Wilton Strategies for Newsweek revealed that most people aren’t singing along to Taylor Swift’s political tune. In fact, 55 percent of those surveyed said a Taylor Swift endorsement wouldn’t influence their voting choices. Looks like Swift’s star power might be fading faster than a pop ballad on the radio.

While 18 percent of respondents admitted they might sway towards a candidate backed by Swift, there were 15 percent who would actually run the other way if she gave her approval. Ouch! Seems like some folks would rather shake off her political preferences.

As the 2024 presidential race starts to heat up faster than a curling iron at a country music concert, Taylor Swift has yet to show her cards. Unlike last time when she publicly strummed her support for Joe Biden, this time, she’s keeping quiet. Maybe she’s saving her voice for the next hit album?

Looks like the political spotlight isn’t shining as bright on Biden this time around. Seems like people are less starry-eyed about endorsing him, especially since his popularity is as on the rocks as a bad karaoke performance. Young progressives are singing a different tune, especially when it comes to Biden’s views on Israel.

Even the pollsters are giving Biden a rough time. A whopping 67 percent of voters think he’s too old to serve another term. It’s like trying to hit the high notes after years of smoking—just not as effective as it used to be. The New York Times poll even questioned Biden’s ability to lead effectively, with 73 percent of registered voters saying he’s past his prime.

Swift might be silent on Biden now, but that hasn’t stopped the Democrats from trying to get her to strum along to their tune. Rob Reiner practically got down on one knee and begged Swift to endorse Biden, saying he’d give anything for her support. Talk about a political love song in the making!

Looks like Swift’s endorsement may not be the hit single that Democrats are hoping for this time around. But hey, who knows? Maybe she’s just waiting for the right moment to drop the political mic and make her voice heard loud and clear. Stay tuned, political drama fans!
