Ahead of Pride Month, a new study revealed that most Americans reject the idea of endless genders. The research, which was conducted by the PRRI, asked about 5,046 adults in the country about their thoughts on the concept of gender.
This year's survey results are worse than those from last year. Over 65 percent of the respondents stated that there are only a couple of genders in the world, which is an increase of 6 percentage points from the previous year. Even as the left pushes for more liberal policies, Americans are rejecting them.
PRRI finds that the discourse on the gender binary is highly polarized along partisan lines:

The study also revealed that even the group that was most likely to be accepting of a nonbinary identity showed a rising number of rejections. This suggests that the ideas of such groups are becoming less popular among Americans.
The survey breaks down the results into racial groups. For instance, over two-thirds of Hispanic and white Americans think there are only two genders. On the other hand, the figure for Black Americans is around 70%. Americans with a college degree were more likely to believe that there are only two genders. Post-graduates and those with a degree from a university were also more likely to think there are only two.
The results of the survey revealed that even though mainstream media doesn't dispute that there's no pressure to identify as a transgender person, 43 percent of the participants claim that young individuals are under pressure to do so. Also, 69 percent of parents whose children have transitioned said that there are only two genders, as opposed to 64 percent of non-parents.
The media and Big Tech should stop hyping up the idea of endless genders, as this study shows that Americans are rejecting it. It's also time to stop forcing kids to use gender-neutral pronouns or make them choose non-binary identities. Instead, Americans are following the biological principles of gender.
