Psaki’s Abortion U-Turn: Defends Dems’ Radical Stance on X

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki faced backlash and instead of reevaluating her stance on abortion, she decided to double-down on her divisive remarks. Psaki, who seems to have a flair for social media drama, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to defend her outrageous claim that “no one supports abortion up to birth.”

Now, for those of us with common sense, it’s clear that Psaki is out of touch with reality. During the GOP 2024 presidential debate, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and former Vice President Mike Pence engaged in a heated discussion about abortion. Haley rightfully called for “consensus” on the issue, including banning late-term abortions.

But Psaki, in her infinite wisdom, decided to dismiss the concerns of Republicans. According to her, Democrats don’t actually support abortion up until birth, and the claims made by Republicans are “completely misleading.” Well, let me break it down for Ms. Psaki in simple terms even she can understand: Democrats do support late-term abortions.

Psaki attempted to justify her position by claiming that third-trimester abortions are rare and involve agonizing decisions. But one must ask, how many agonizing decisions justify ending the life of a viable baby? Republicans have long argued that life begins at conception and should be protected at all stages. It’s a fundamental principle that Psaki and her Democrat cohorts seem to conveniently forget.

To make matters worse, many Democrats have openly supported abortion in all trimesters of pregnancy. Psaki conveniently ignores the fact that former Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia infamously stated that a woman could decide to abort even when she’s dilated and ready to give birth. Yes, you heard that right. According to Psaki’s own party member, a fully developed and viable baby could be terminated if the mother so chooses.

What’s even more concerning is that Psaki is not the only one pushing this radical agenda. The Democrats reintroduced the “Women’s Health Protection Act” (WHPA) in the Senate, aiming to expand abortion on demand throughout all stages of pregnancy. It’s clear that Psaki’s remarks reflect the sentiments of her party and the policies they seek to implement.

Thankfully, there are still some Democrats who have the sense to oppose this extreme agenda. The Senate voted 46-48 to block the WHPA, with West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin joining Republicans in opposition. It’s refreshing to see that not everyone in the Democratic Party has lost their moral compass.

In conclusion, Psaki’s attempt to defend her outrageous remarks only showcases the radicalism of the Democratic Party when it comes to abortion. It’s clear that they support ending the lives of viable babies, and no amount of denial or misleading statements can change that fact. As conservatives, we must continue to fight for the sanctity of life and protect the most vulnerable among us.
