Staffers from Turning Point USA were simply doing their job, handing out information and engaging with students, when they were suddenly assaulted by an agitated individual who took the phrase “bike lock” to a whole new level—using it as a weapon. This brazen attack, caught on camera, highlights how far radical ideologies will go to suppress conservative voices.
The assailant, later identified as Liam Thanh Tam Nguyen, wasted no time in revealing his true colors. Attired in a skirt and bra or bikini top, the suspect mounted a surprise attack on TPUSA Chapter president Paige Neumann and her secretary, demonstrating that the left’s narrative of civility has slipped from “politically correct” to outright violent. This incident isn’t just another day in the life of campus activism; it’s a flashpoint that underscores the alarming consequences of progressive entitlement.
It’s no surprise that local law enforcement was quick to respond, apprehending Nguyen later that evening. However, the charges he faces paint a grim picture of someone unwilling to face the music—aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and assault on a police officer. This troubling rhetoric isn’t just irresponsible; it’s downright dangerous, especially as the left grapples with a political landscape that is increasingly rejecting their radical ideals.
