The radical left is at it again, and this time they want to tear down the very foundation of our great nation. The New York Times just released a podcast calling for abolishing the Senate, ending the Electoral College, and packing the Supreme Court. These are the same people who brought us the anti-American 1619 Project, and now they want to rewrite our entire Constitution.
Democrats are having a complete meltdown after President Trump’s victories showed the world that real Americans still believe in our founding principles. Instead of listening to the voters, they want to change the rules of the game entirely. They call our system “undemocratic” because it doesn’t give them the power they think they deserve.
The Electoral College was designed by our brilliant Founding Fathers to make sure every state has a voice in choosing our president. Without it, a few big cities filled with liberal elites would control the entire country. Small towns and rural communities would be completely ignored by politicians who only care about winning votes in New York and California.
These leftist radicals also want to destroy the Senate because it gives equal representation to all states, whether big or small. This is exactly what the founders intended to protect smaller states from being bullied by larger ones. The Senate forces politicians to build real coalitions across the entire country, not just in liberal strongholds.
Court packing is perhaps their most dangerous idea of all. When the Supreme Court doesn’t rule the way they want, they simply want to add more justices until they get their way. This would destroy the independence of our courts and turn them into just another political weapon for the far left.
The Constitution has served America well for over 200 years, making us the freest and most prosperous nation in human history. It created a system of checks and balances that prevents any one group from gaining too much power. Now the left wants to throw all of that away because they lost some elections.
What they really want is direct democracy, where the majority can trample on the rights of everyone else. This is exactly what our founders feared most when they created our republic. They knew that pure democracy always leads to chaos and tyranny of the mob.
Americans must stand up and defend our Constitution against these radical attacks. Our founding document isn’t perfect, but it has given us freedom and prosperity that billions around the world can only dream of. We cannot let angry leftists destroy the greatest system of government ever created just because they didn’t get their way.
